Erik Johansson Photography:

All about: Erik Johansson is a focused full time photographer/retoucher whom currently lives in sweden but is from berlin, germany. He's extremely talented and creates original art pieces to street illusions.
he's worked for many presitgious companies such as google, adobe and even microsoft.

Heres a couple of my favorite art pieces of his:

i love the surrealism of this photo, and how although i know how edited it is, it's so well done it looks real. Probably my favorite photo of all 3.

i chose this photo not only because i love the colors of it all, it looks as if a giant tsunami has hit the town and now all the house's have floated out to sea.

i think i chose this photo because it looks like there's some back story behind it. it's interesting,  catches my attention and makes me wonder.

- my take on it -

Retouch a model in photoshop:

i edited all the imperfections off my model's face using photoshop tools, cleaned up his beard etc.. and made his skin overall match. teeth whitened and under eye bag's removed.

i made my model's eyes stand out by lightening them, and removed all imperfections/redness from his face. Teeth whitened and undereye's bags lightened to even his face overall. along with forehead wrinkles removed.

i have another photo but it wont upload :(
but here's what i did to fix it.

infrared photo project:

the history of infrared photography:
" Near infrared refers to the spectrum of light just beyond the range humans can detect with their eyesight. This light range is between 700 – 1200 nm (nanometers). "

the first ways of creating infrared photo's we're using special film plates, it all started in 1930's-1940's film-makers first introduced IF photography to a broader audience, amateur photographers and film makers all over hollywood. It was even used in WWI as "
s images using the IR spectrum were not affected as much by atmospheric haze as normal photo " along with
proving  to be very useful in criminology to detect forensics that couldnt be seen by the human eye itself.
